How we measure what we build
Individuals. Communities. Institutions. Systems.
An intervention that helps one person is not the same as one that changes what a community can sustain on its own. We track outcomes at four levels, because collapsing them into one number hides which kind of change actually happened.

Framework
The four levels.
Individuals
A beneficiary reached, trained, supported, or represented.
Communities
A law clinic activated, a governance structure functioning, a cohort of paralegals serving a defined area.
Institutions
A partner organisation operating under a documented safeguarding standard, a coalition holding a shared agenda, a certification programme producing qualified practitioners.
Systems
A policy brief that shapes a government position, a roundtable convened by a government office, a published report that becomes a reference document for the sector.
SDG alignment
Aligned to seven Sustainable Development Goals.
- SDG 3 · Good Health and Well-Being
- SDG 4 · Quality Education
- SDG 5 · Gender Equality
- SDG 8 · Decent Work and Economic Growth
- SDG 10 · Reduced Inequalities
- SDG 16 · Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions
- SDG 17 · Partnerships for the Goals
MEL
Measurement, evaluation, and learning.
A measurement, evaluation, and learning framework is applied from inception on every programme, not layered on afterward. Where a programme is delivered with a partner, baseline and endline studies, annual research reports, and evaluations are typically a shared output, reviewed through the relevant governance body before publication.
Outputs
What we publish.
- Policy briefs
- Country and community comparisons
- Programme evaluations
- Trend analysis
- Annual reports, including the Annual State of Vulnerable Young Women Report produced with Sisters of Esther
